Walking Tour at the MLK Assassination Site
COPA Meeting at Memphis, April 2008.
A few of us walked down to the National Civil Rights Museum (the former Lorraine Motel where Dr. King was murdered) and John Judge served as a brilliant tour guide.
Sorry about the dodgy sound at times; it was a windy day and there was a high school band practicing nearby. I did what I could to make it listenable. Anyway, despite that I think it's hopefully interesting, containing footage of the assassination site, the building across from the Lorraine, and the place where a package was dropped to incriminate James Earl Ray.
Also contains a couple of short snippets showing COPA's presence at the march the day before, from the Memphis city hall to the assassination site. In the middle of that occurrence I received a phone call regarding a new job, and had to tell them that I couldn't really talk at that moment because we were in the middle of a civil rights march...They hired me anyway.

Robert Groden on the Buddy Walthers slug
Buddy Walthers was a Dallas patrolman who, along with two unknown men, discovered what appeared to be a .45 caliber slug on the ground at Dealey Plaza on 11/22/1963.
This exchange occurred at the Dallas COPA meeting in 2007. In the video, Chris Pike - who is currently writing a biography of Penn Jones - had just completed his presentation and was taking questions. Robert Groden, a photographic expert and author who worked for the House Select Committee on Assassinations as well as the Oliver Stone film JFK, among other things, was asked his opinon of the Walthers story.
Pardon the shaky camerawork. It was my first time doing this sort of thing and hadn't gotten properly situated.

Discussion about Maggie Field
This conversation occurred at the last COPA conference in Dallas. John Kelin had finished giving his excellent presentation on Praise from a Future Generation and he was fielding questions. The subject of Maggie Field, one of the first critics, came up, and what happened to her work. Unfortunately, a certain lack of organization has resulted in the past work of many critics being lost or even destroyed.
Incidentally, that's me identifying Robbie Williams. I was later able to verify that yes, the person in question really is pop star Robbie Williams. Crazy.
